Appliance Fault Codes

What that error code means — and what you can safely check

Beko machines usually show an H-prefixed code (like H5) or an E-code depending on the model line; some older models blink programme lights in a sequence that maps to a number. Beko publishes code tables in its support pages.

E01Door lock faultOften fixable at homeThe door is not detected as locked, so the programme will not start.
H2Heater relay faultOften fixable at homeThe control board cannot switch the heater circuit on.

Safety first

Unplug before any check. Never open panels beyond the filter flap. Anything involving internal wiring, the heater or gas must go to a professional — see each code page for its "call a professional when" line.
