Bosch washing machine E18 error code
E18 means drain fault. The machine could not drain the water out within the expected time. Water is left standing in the drum.

Safe checks, in order of likelihood
- Unplug the machine. Open the filter flap at the bottom-front and lay towels down.
- Unscrew the drain filter slowly and let water out. Clean out fluff, coins, hair clips.
- Check the drain hose is not kinked and the standpipe is not blocked.
- Run a Drain/Spin or Rinse programme to confirm the pump runs.
